Former Real Madrid and Valencia soccer player Iván Helguera.

Iván Helguera responded on Twitter to FC Barcelona after the 5-1 of the Classic. The former player, who defended the shirt of Real Madrid for eight seasons (from 1999 to 2007), left a cryptic message.

The official account of Barça tweeted a picture of Gerard Piqué showing his hand to the stands, accompanied by the popular expression “Give me five”, in which the last word was written with an open hand, precisely.

Helguera responded to the tweet with an image in which the dialogue between a samurai and his disciples could be read:

-If someone comes to you with a gift and you do not accept it, to whom does the gift belong? The samurai asked.

“Whoever tried to deliver it,” one of the disciples replied.

-Well, the same goes for envy, anger and insults, said the teacher. When they are not accepted, they continue to belong to the one who carried them with them.

After seeing the reactions to his message, Helguera decided to put his account in private mode; that is, accessible only to his followers.
