Setmana Gastronmica de la Nyora i el Llagost 2019 in Guardamar

Guardamar del Segura will house from June 3 to 9 the fifteenth edition of the Setmana Gastronòmica de la Nyora i el Llagostí. It is an annual event aimed at lovers of good food and promotion of indigenous products most emblematic of the town, the ñora and the shrimp. The conference starts this coming Sunday with the inaugural dinner, which will take place in the restaurant Le Bleu.

On May 20, the 5th National Cooking Contest of Ñora and Langostino de Guardamar, in El Jardín restaurant, in which 10 finalists participated after a shortlist between candidates from all over the national geography.

The winner was Niki Pavanelli, chef of the restaurant Il Bocconcino, of Adeje (Santa Cruz de Tenerife). The second prize went to Argentino Fernández, from the Marvi bar in Valencia. Álvaro Abad, of the El Plantío Golf Resort restaurant in Alicante, won the third prize.

From June 3 to 9 the restaurants Chema, Club Náutico, El Bocaito, El Bocaito Beach, El Jardín and Le Bleu they will serve special menus based on ñora and shrimp. These restaurants are the sample of the best cuisine, both traditional and innovative, that Guardamar offers its residents and visitors.
