Coutinho has been a ruin for Barcelona, which paid the Liverpool 120 million euros (and agreed another 40 million in variables) for the transfer of the Brazilian, just over a year and a half ago. The club invested a large part of the 222 million admitted by Neymar's march to the PSG.
Barça wishes Coutinho good luck in this new stage, and expresses his “appreciation for his commitment and dedication”. He has played a total of 75 games as Barca, in which he has scored 21 goals. However, its performance has been far from expected, especially in large dates.

“For me, this signing is a new challenge in a new country in one of the best clubs in Europe. I am very motivated,” said the player upon arrival in Munich.
“Coutinho made it very clear to us during the negotiations in Barcelona that he wanted to sign unequivocally for Bayern,” said the Bavarian sports director, Hasan Salihamidzic. “He is a world-class player of exceptional qualities who can occupy different positions in attack.”
