FC Barcelona and Seville announced this Tuesday the transfer of Ivan Rakitic after five seasons in which he dressed as a Barça player. The Croatian midfielder returns to Sánchez Pizjuán, where he exploded as a footballer and became known in Spanish football, earning him his arrival at Camp Nou.

A transfer that can be considered as a bargain for its price, 1.5 million fixed, which can reach 10.5 with variables. However, it must be given very well to Sevilla to have to approach that amount since it would mean the total success of the project.

The portal ‘Goal’ revealed what is the division of these variables and what Rakitic has to achieve as a Sevilla player. The first three million, will have to be paid based on the games played and the team’s classification in LaLiga, something that a priori, seems reasonable, especially, after having finished fourth in a last memorable season.

However, the rest of the variables seem to have a fairly low probability of completion. The most feasible premium is one million euros that Sevilla would have to pay in the case of winning the Europa League, which although it is his fetish competition, is a great achievement difficult to complete.

Likewise, the transfer contract also consider that the Hispanics win LaLiga, something that they have not achieved since 1946 and of course for which they would have to pay Two millions of euros. Until the Champions League is included in the agreement and if Sevilla manage to win it, they will have to pay three million euros extra.

In this way, the white and red club has to pay 1.5 million euros on a mandatory basis, which in normal conditions will reach 4.5, and with a bit of luck, to 5.5 million for the Europa League. Quite more unlikely are the remaining 5 for LaLiga and the Champions League.
