He Govern and the FC Barcelona have met online this Friday to discuss the possibility of put public in the Camp Nou in the matches of Champions, as well as at the Palau Blaugrana in duels of Euroleague.
At the meeting of both organizations, it was agreed to create a technical working group which will be coordinated by the General Secretary of Sports and Physical Activity, and which will be attended by experts from the Health, Interior and Presidency Councils and members of the club.
The Generalitat communicated it in a statement, where it explained that the group’s objective will be to analyze and validate the protocols for the presence of the public during the matches. In addition, the protocols associated with the celebration of the vote of no-confidence and the suitability of the scheduled dates based on the evolution of the epidemiological situation will also be studied.
Given the current delicate situation of the Catalan capital due to the coronavirus pandemic, the presence of the public will not be enabled for the Champions League game scheduled for next Tuesday that FC Barcelona will face the Hungarian club Ferencváros TC or for the matches of the next week they will be held at the Palau Blaugrana.
The Generalitat Secretary of Public Health, Josep Maria Argimon; the general secretary of the Presidency, Meritxell Masó; the Secretary General of the Department of Health, Marc Ramentol, the Secretary General of the Department of the Interior, Beth Abad, and the Secretary General of Sport and Physical Activity of the Generalitat, Gerard Figueras.
Barcelona was represented by the club’s CEO, Òscar Grau, accompanied by a delegation from the club.
