The alarms go off in the FC Barcelona after the Cornellá have detected two new cases of coronavirus less than 24 hours after the match between the two in the Copa del Rey. In fact, one of them participated in the Catalan derby while the second player was called up but did not play any minute.
Thus, the azulgrana team is now pending your own test results to which they will submit this Friday, before next Sunday’s match against the Elche, who is currently on the tightrope. However, for now the Catalans have not reported the detection of any positive in the squad.
For its part, the Cornellá has already implemented the corresponding health protocols, isolating the two players in question and informing their Barça neighbors of the contingency. In the same way, they are already studying the request for suspension of their Second B match, of which the RFEF will have the last word.
